COMET C/2011 N2 (McNAUGHT)
     R. H. McNaught reports his discovery of a comet on CCD images
obtained with the 0.5-m Uppsala Schmidt telescope at Siding Spring
(discovery observation tabulated below); the object shows a 10"
circular coma with moderate condensation.  After posting on the
Minor Planet Center's 'NEOCP' webpage, cometary appearance has also
been reported by N. Howes, G. Sostero, and E. Guido, who remotely
used the 2.0-m f/10 "Faulkes Telescope South" at Haleakala on July
5.4 UT to obtained 20-s Bessel-R-filtered exposures that show a
diffuse coma at least 5" in diameter, possibly elongated north-south.

     The available astrometry, the following preliminary parabolic
orbital elements by G. V. Williams, and an ephemeris appear on
MPEC 2011-N31.

     q = 2.69626 AU                   Incl. =  34.895


COMETS C/2009 Y18 AND C/2009 Y19 (SOHO)
     Further to IAUC 9200, two additional near-sun comets have been
found on SOHO website images.  C/2009 Y18, a member of the Meyer
group, was stellar in appearance (peak mag about 6.5-7).  K.
Battams notes that C/2009 Y19 (a Kreutz sungrazer) was very faint
(peak mag about 7.5-8).

COMET C/2010 A6 (SOHO)
     A Kreutz sungrazer (discovery observation tabulated below)
found on SOHO website images was extremely faint (peak mag about
8.5-9) and diffuse in C2 images from Jan. 3; in STEREO HI-1A images
from Jan. 2, it appeared faint and slightly elongated (mag about
11-12).
