COMET C/2010 G3 (WISE)
A. Mainzer, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, reports the discovery
by the WISE satellite of a comet candidate (discovery position
below), about as bright as C/2010 D1 (IAUC 9118) at 12 microns and
having about twice the 12-micron signal-to-noise ratio at 22
microns, making it easily the brightest WISE discovery in the
latter band. The coma was 25" in diameter at 12 microns and about
40" in diameter with a 20" tail at 22 microns (the tail being not
so readily visible at 12 microns). W. H. Ryan, observing with the
2.4-m reflector at Magdalena Ridge on Apr. 16.3 UT, puts the comet
at magnitude R = 18.4-18.6 and remarks on a distinct coma and a
tail in p.a. 170 deg.

COMET C/2010 H1 (GARRADD)
As first announced on CBET 2248, G. J. Garradd reported his
discovery of a probable comet (discovery position tabulated below)
in the course of the Siding Spring Survey with the 0.5-m Uppsala
Schmidt telescope; there was a faint tail extending 10" to the
north. After posting on the 'NEOCP' webpage, A. C. Gilmore and P.
M. Kilmartin (Mt. John Observatory 1.0-m f/7.7 reflector) reported
a short, bright tail in p.a. 355 deg from their images taken on
Apr. 17.4 UT.

the following parabolic orbital elements by B. G. Marsden and an
