Electronic Telegram No. 4333 Central Bureau for Astronomical Telegrams Mailing address: Hoffman Lab 209; Harvard University; 20 Oxford St.; Cambridge, MA 02138; U.S.A. e-mail: cbatiau@eps.harvard.edu (alternate cbat@iau.org) URL http://www.cbat.eps.harvard.edu/index.html Prepared using the Tamkin Foundation Computer Network NOVA IN SAGITTARIUS = TCP J18102829-2729590 K. Ayani, Bisei Astronomical Observatory (BAO), Ibara, Okayama, obtained a low-resolution spectrogram (range 400-800 nm; resolution 0.5 nm at H-alpha) of TCP J18102829-2729590 (cf. CBET 4332) with the BAO 1.01-m telescope on Oct. 24.38 UT. The spectrum shows absorption lines of Balmer lines, Fe II (42), Na D, and O I 777.4-nm. The H-alpha and O I lines show P-Cyg profiles. The absorption bottom of H-alpha is blueshifted by 600 km/s with respect to the emission peak. This confirms that the object is a nova in early phase. The spectrum is viewable via website URL http://tinyurl.com/z6pqe3v. NOTE: These 'Central Bureau Electronic Telegrams' are sometimes superseded by text appearing later in the printed IAU Circulars.
