Sato, Tokyo, Japan, reports his recovery of comet P/2009 K1 (cf. IAUCs 9044, 9050) on CCD images obtained with an iTelescope 0.51-m f/6.8 astrograph (+ luminance filter) at Siding Spring (his astrometry tabulated below). All the images showed a strongly condensed coma 10" in diameter. Ten stacked 60-s exposures taken on June 29 show a hint of tail 10" long toward p.a. 100 deg; five stacked 60-s exposures taken on July 3.35 UT show a hint of tail 15" long toward p.a. 105 deg. The w-band magnitudes tabulated below were all as measured within a circular aperture of radius 6".5-6".6. 2016 UT R.A. (2000) Decl. Mag.
