Weryk, Institute for Astronomy, University of Hawaii, reports what was apparently the discovery of an unknown comet in four w-band exposures taken with the 1.8-m Pan-STARRS1 telescope at Haleakala on Oct. 10 (astrometry tabulated below), noting that there is evidence of a faint-but- broad tail, extending towards position angle approximately 70 degrees; in his report, Weryk commented that the object may be a recovery of comet P/2003 WC7 (cf. IAUC 8280). 2015 UT R.A. (2000) Decl. Mag. The indicated correction to the prediction by G. V. Williams on MPC 79352 is Delta(T) = +0.70 day; the indicated correction to the predictin by S. Nakano in the ICQ's 2015 Comet Handbook is Delta(T) = +0.37 day.
