Sheppard, Carnegie Institution for Science; and Chadwick A. Trujillo, Gemini Observatory, report the discovery of a new comet in three VR-band CCD exposures taken with the Blanco 4-m telescope at Cerro Tololo on Mar. 26 and 28; in each 6-min exposure, the object has a distinct non-stellar diffuse coma with no visible tail. Sheppard obtained additional observations of the comet with the 6.5-m Magellan telescope on May 23; in three 7-min exposures, the comet shows an obvious diffuse coma. 2014 UT R.A. (2000) Decl. Mag.
