H. McNaught reports his discovery of a comet on CCD images taken with the 0.5-m Uppsala Schmidt telescope at Siding Spring (discovery observations tabulated below). On May 8, there was a very weak 15" tail in p.a. 250 deg, while on May 9 there was an obvious 20" tail in p.a. 240 deg; the comet's FWHM in the images on both nights was slightly large than those of surrounding field stars. 2013 UT R.A.
