After posting on the NEOCP webpage, with additional astrometry obtained on Dec. 25 at Cerro Tololo by T. Linder and R. Holmes, both Gareth V. Williams (Minor Planet Center) and Maik Meyer (Limburg, Germany) independently suggested that this object is identical to comet P/1999 D1 (cf. IAUC 7111, 7112, 7134). 2012 UT R.A. (2000) Decl. Mag.
