H. McNaught reports his discovery of a comet (discovery observations tabulated below) on CCD images taken with the 0.5-m Uppsala Schmidt telescope at Siding Spring. Follow-up images taken by McNaught on May 29.8 UT show a coma of diameter about 10", while further exposures on May 30.8 show the comet extended to the northwest by a few arc seconds. 2012 UT R.A.
